Retail stores, Theaters, Hotels and Airbnb's, have said, when their customers see our framed signs, this leads to them using our service to get into town without stressing about parking.
Restaurants. say they sell that 2nd and 3ed drink with the meal.
Bars. That’s why we put them where we have their undivided attention, while they're washing their hands. “No Wash Hands? “ We will let our fine officers of the law ask why they didn’t see our sign in the restroom. “did you forget to wash your hands?” (snicker)

Our Origin Story
It all started with a bartender at the Fern, ( a popular watering hole in Nevada City ) Suggesting i put a poster in the restrooms.
December 2025
What we came to realize, without a Taxi company to get you home, ( Fast Taxi closed there doors at the end of 2024 ) Uber drivers, with the best of intentions, all go home when work slows down, not realizing, all the other drivers went home too.
With the risk of not getting an Uber that late, no one was even using Uber any more, to get around.
So after a month of people seeing the poster as they wash there hands, they started to use Uber again to go out and reliably get back home.
This resulted in Uber drivers, sticking around.… but only because a few of us, consistently staying within 20 minutes of Grass Valley, 7 days a week, for the last 5 months, driving from 7pm till 11pm. doing one way trips, the same conditions that put Fast Taxi out of business.

As of June the 20th, stuff is being added, like new drivers to facilitate longer times of operation.
We are also looking for someone that wants to play with Claude to develop the pasenger and driver apps.
This sight, is like the yellow pages of the past. Drivers pay to list (advertise) and passengers find drivers to contact and hire.
The future Local Drivers Net app, is just more convenient than calling each driver, one at a time, to figure out which one can get the job done first.
Thank you for supporting us during these early bumpy days as we all travel towards the day when drivers make a livable wage providing a safe, reliable and affordable ride.
Time for the drivers to take home more than 25%
As an Uber or Lift driver that stays with in a 20 minute drive of Grass Valley, Uber/Lyft takes 45% of the fair.
The cost of Fuel, Vehicle depreciation, Interest on the Loan, Maintenance and Repairs, consumes another 35%
Leaving the driver 25%
Using the HUM app, drivers are licensed and insured in accordance with the State of California Public Utilities Commission, represents less than 5% of a drivers monthly expenses.
Leaving the driver with 70%
All we need is a way to connect passengers to local independent drivers.
